INTERNATIONAL VIRTUAL COURSE
[EVENT]
Disasters, either natural or man-made, can happen haphazardly. The death toll of a disaster can be devastating. Hence, preparedness to mitigate the impact of a disaster is necessary. One of the critical preparedness concerns are health care deliveries and the provision of sufficient medication and health supplies since disasters can severely impact people’s health.
Let’s discuss this issue together with Prof. Dr. Irwan only at:
Time: 18.30 – 20.10 WIB
Day, date: Saturday, 25 November 2023
Online via Zoom
These issues will be the centre of discussions in the “Disaster Mitigation” International Virtual Course (IVC) offered by the School of Pharmacy, Institut Teknologi Bandung.
It is a unique online course providing theoretical and practical knowledge on essential topics, including disaster preparedness, disaster management, and stakeholder collaborations. The course will also give insight into the roles and responsibilities of healthcare workers during a disaster.
The course is open to students from all backgrounds (free of charge, local students will need to pay a commitment fee that will be refunded after the course), and professionals in the field.
