14th ITB International Geothermal Workshop 2025 Set to Drive Sustainable Energy Solutions

BANDUNG, Indonesia – July 1, 2025 – Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) is proud to announce the upcoming 14th ITB International Geothermal Workshop (14th IIGW 2025), a premier event dedicated to advancing the understanding and application of geothermal energy. Scheduled for early 2025 at the Energy Building, Bandung, Indonesia, this workshop will convene leading experts, researchers, industry professionals, and policymakers from around the globe to foster collaboration and innovation in geothermal development.

The 14th IIGW 2025 promises a comprehensive program designed to address critical aspects of geothermal energy. Attendees can anticipate a rich agenda, including:

• Pre-event activities: Featuring specialized training such as “Integrated Geothermal Modelling Volsung Fundamentals for a Geothermal Project,” providing practical insights into advanced modeling techniques.
• Main Event: Comprising “Keynote and Plenary Sessions” and parallel “Technical Sessions” across two dedicated rooms. These sessions will delve into innovative strategies for integrating geothermal power and direct applications, bridging science and practice through technological advancements, and providing crucial company updates from key industry players.
• Post-event activities: Offering valuable hands-on experiences through “Solenis Course Training,” “Ecolab Course Training,” a “Field Camp,” and an illuminating “Field Trip” to a geothermal site.

The workshop will feature an impressive lineup of invited speakers, including prominent figures from international associations, leading universities such as Kyoto University and Stanford University, and major geothermal companies like Geo Dipa Energi, Solenis, Ormat Technologies, Supreme Energy, Pertamina Geothermal Energy, PLN Indonesia Geothermal, Medco Power Indonesia, Sarulla Operations, and Star Energy Geothermal. Their expertise will cover diverse topics ranging from power generation, direct use, social and economic aspects, to drilling, geochemistry, geology, geophysics, and production & reservoir engineering.

Lokakarya Internasional Panas Bumi ITB ke-14 Tahun 2025 Siap Dorong Solusi Energi Berkelanjutan

BANDUNG, Indonesia – 1 Juli 2025 – Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) dengan bangga mengumumkan penyelenggaraan Lokakarya Internasional Panas Bumi ITB ke-14 (14th IIGW 2025) yang akan datang, sebuah acara utama yang didedikasikan untuk memajukan pemahaman dan penerapan energi panas bumi. Dijadwalkan pada awal tahun 2025 di Gedung Energi, Bandung, Indonesia, lokakarya ini akan mempertemukan para ahli terkemuka, peneliti, profesional industri, dan pembuat kebijakan dari seluruh dunia untuk mendorong kolaborasi dan inovasi dalam pengembangan panas bumi.

14th IIGW 2025 menjanjikan program komprehensif yang dirancang untuk membahas aspek-aspek penting energi panas bumi. Peserta dapat menantikan agenda yang menarik (lihat tabel linimasa di atas), termasuk:

• Kegiatan Pra-acara: Menampilkan pelatihan khusus seperti “Integrated Geothermal Modelling Volsung Fundamentals for a Geothermal Project,” yang memberikan wawasan praktis tentang teknik pemodelan canggih.
• Acara Utama: Terdiri dari “Sesi Utama dan Pleno” serta “Sesi Teknis” paralel di dua ruangan terpisah.
