Visit of Father Christoforus Bayu Risanto, S.J. from the Vatican

The Faculty of Earth Sciences and Technology was honored to host Father Christoforus Bayu Risanto, S.J., from the Vatican Observatory, in a meeting held in the Faculty Meeting Room of the Faculty of Earth Sciences and Technology (FITB) on Friday, August 22, 2025.

The visit was welcomed by Dr. Rusmawan Suwarman, S.Si., M.T. (Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Head of the Atmospheric Science Study Group), Dr. Nurjanna Joko Trilaksono, S.Si., M.Si. (Vice Head of the Atmospheric Science Study Group), and Dr. Muhammad Rais Abdillah, S.Si., M.Sc. (Head of the Undergraduate Meteorology Study Program). This meeting provided a warm and enthusiastic space for cross-disciplinary collaboration between atmospheric science and astronomy. Hopefully, this gathering will pave the way for broader scientific synergy in the future. 🌌🌍
