Visit from the University of Texas AT Austin (UT Austin)

On Thursday, October 30, 2025, the Faculty of Earth Sciences and Technology (FITB) ITB received a visit from the University of Texas at Austin, USA.

This activity is a form of joint commitment in the context of an audience regarding the discussion of potential collaboration related to the exchange of FITB staff and students, short courses, joint field lectures, research collaboration for the scientific fields of critical minerals, hydrogeology or groundwater, earth energy, geohazards, geochemistry and others, as well as sharing of resources, especially laboratory analysis.

This activity was also attended by Dr.tech. Dudy Darmawan Wijaya, S.T., M.Sc. as Dean of FITB, Prof. Benyamin Sapiie as FITB professor, Dr. Reynaldy and experts from the University of Texas at Austin, USA.

It is hoped that this synergy can provide a real contribution to the development of environmentally conscious earth sciences and strengthen collaborative networks between educational institutions.
