Signing of PKS with Mero Foundation

On Tuesday, November 4, 2025, the Faculty of Earth Sciences and Technology (FITB) ITB carried out the signing of a Cooperation Agreement with the Indonesian Marine Education and Research Organization (MERO) Foundation.

This activity demonstrates a shared commitment to supporting the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. Through this collaboration, FITB ITB and the MERO Foundation have agreed to collaborate in education, research, and community service.

This activity was also attended by Dr. Rusmawan Suwarman, S.Si., M.T. as the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of FITB, Dr.rer.nat. Rima Rachmayani, S.Si., M.Si. as the Head of the Oceanography Undergraduate Study Program, Dr. Rahmadi Prasetyo, S.T., M.T. as the Advisor of the MERO Foundation, as well as experts from ITB namely Ivonne Milichristi Radjawane, Ph.D., Dr. Iwan Pramesti Anwar, Dr.Eng. Faruq Khadami, S.Si., M.Si., and Ir. Hanif Diastomo, S.Si., M.Sc

It is hoped that this synergy can provide a real contribution to the development of environmentally conscious earth sciences and strengthen collaborative networks between educational institutions and marine research and education institutions.
