Exploration of Cooperation between FITB – ITB and the Nusantara Sea Crystal Producers Cooperative (KLN) Cirebon

On Friday, October 31, 2025, the Faculty of Earth Sciences and Technology (FITB) ITB conducted a collaboration exploration with the Nusantara Sea Crystal Producers Cooperative (KLN) Cirebon.

This activity is a form of joint commitment to strengthening the national industry and empowering salt farmers in Cirebon.

This exploration was attended by Dr.techn. Dudy Darmawan Wijaya, S.T., M.Sc. as the Dean of FITB, Dr. Dasapta Erwin Irawan, S.T., M.T. as the Vice Dean for Resources of FITB, Dr. Rusmawan Suwarman, S.Si., M.T. as the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of FITB, Dr.rer.nat. Rima Rachmayani, S.Si., M.Si. as the Head of the ITB Oceanography Study Program, the Cirebon Nusantara Sea Crystal Producers Cooperative Team, and FITB experts namely Dr.Eng. Faruq Khadami, S.Si., M.Si.

Hopefully this synergy can provide real contributions to the national industry and community empowerment.
