Collaboration between FITB and the University of New South Wales (UNSW) Australia

The luncheon atmosphere on Monday, September 8, 2025, was made special by the presence of Assoc. Prof. Mitchell Harley from the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia. In a warm and collaborative meeting, we discussed various interesting topics surrounding academic development and potential collaboration between institutions. His presence provided a valuable new perspective, particularly in the fields of Natural Hazards, Physical Oceanography, Ocean Engineering, Marine Engineering, and Marine Geoscience. Hopefully, this meeting will be the beginning of a closer collaboration between FITB and UNSW, opening up opportunities for collaboration with real impact for the academic world and the wider community.
